Coopers may be the supplier for you if you need the whole kaboodle. As well as decent coffee, Coopers will provide a machine, grinder and barista training.

The wonderfully titled Grumpy Mule is a good quality roastery, based in West Yorkshire.  It is the retail arm of its parent company, Boiling Coffee Ltd, which also supplies equipment and barista training.

 

Has Bean is one of the most respected artisan roasteries around. It's popping up in some of the best coffee shops in the country.

 

James' Gourmet Coffee is an artisan roastery in Ross on Wye, Herefordshire, offering some of the best coffee around.

 

Hidden away in lovely Cornwall is Origin, a roastery popular in the south-west and beyond.  

 

A roastery run by former World Barista Champion James Hoffman. By reputation at least, it's probably as good as it gets for coffee in Britain.

 

Union Hand-Roasted is one of the most successful independent roasteries in the country.
